Terms of use
Last updated: 26 October 2026
1. Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to every offer, trial and agreement between Majid El Mehammedy, trading as Domli (VAT ID NL005099758B32, De Vennen 14, 9755PS Onnen; “Domli”) and a business or professional customer (“you”). Domli is intended for business use only, not for consumers. By creating an account or starting the free month, you accept these terms.
2. The service
Domli provides a hosted customer inbox: website chat, email and, if included in your plan, WhatsApp, with optional AI features and a link to your booking system. Hosting, updates, backups and basic support are included. We set the service up for you. What is included depends on the plan you choose on our website.
3. Free first month
- New customers get their first month free after an introductory demo, on any plan.
- When you start, you give us your payment details. After the free month, the subscription continues monthly at the plan you chose.
- You can cancel at any time. If you cancel during the free month, you pay nothing.
- There are no setup fees. The free month is offered once per business.
4. Prices and payment
- Prices on the website are per month and exclude VAT.
- We invoice monthly in advance. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date, or by automatic collection if agreed.
- If payment fails, we may suspend the service after a reminder. Suspension does not end your payment obligation.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. If you disagree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
- Message costs for WhatsApp are charged by Meta directly to you. Domli adds nothing to them.
5. Term and cancellation
The agreement runs month to month. You can cancel at any time by email; the subscription then ends at the end of the current month. We may cancel with 30 days’ notice, and with immediate effect if you seriously breach these terms. At the end of the agreement we delete your data within 30 days, or provide an export on request (see section 9).
6. Your use of the service
- You are responsible for your account, your users and the content you and your customers send through Domli.
- You may not use Domli for anything unlawful, for spam or unsolicited bulk messages, to spread malware, or to attack or overload the service.
- You make sure you may contact your customers, for example have a legal basis and follow WhatsApp’s and Meta’s own rules.
- Domli is not suitable for healthcare providers or for sending health data, identity documents or payment card data. Do not use it for those.
7. AI features
AI features are optional and off by default. AI can make mistakes. By default the assistant only drafts replies for your team to check; if you let it reply on its own, you are responsible for the information and instructions you gave it and for monitoring the results. It hands over prices, complaints and doubtful cases to a person, but we cannot guarantee it is always right. AI text is sent to our AI provider as described in the privacy statement.
8. Availability and support
We work to keep Domli available and secure, and we perform maintenance and updates, usually with little or no downtime. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and there is no fixed service level unless agreed in writing. Basic support is by email on business days.
9. Your data and privacy
- Your data remains yours. We only use it to provide the service.
- For personal data of your customers, you are the controller and we are the processor. We conclude a data processing agreement with you on request or at the start of the service; it forms part of these terms.
- How we handle personal data as controller is described in our privacy statement.
- We make daily backups, kept for 14 days.
10. Intellectual property
Domli is built on open-source software, which remains licensed under its own licences. We grant you a non-exclusive right to use the service for the term of the agreement. You keep all rights to your content and data. The Domli name and logo belong to us.
11. Liability
- Our total liability for damage arising from the agreement is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the event (for a claim during the free month: €100).
- We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost profit, lost customers or reputation damage, nor for damage caused by AI answers, by third-party services (such as Meta or your email provider), or by your own use contrary to these terms.
- These limits do not apply to intent or wilful recklessness, or where the law does not allow a limit.
12. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failing to perform due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, such as outages of internet, hosting or power, or the actions of third parties.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We tell you at least 30 days beforehand by email. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
14. Applicable law and disputes
Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, in the district where Domli is established. Questions about these terms: contact@domli.nl.
